GN 55.2 solid disk-shaped raw magnets are unshielded disc-shaped (annular) magnets, designed for a diverse range of applications due to their variety of materials and sizes. These magnets are typically attached using adhesive methods. When utilized without an air gap, individual raw magnets exhibit lower adhesive forces compared to magnet assemblies that benefit from shielding and magnetic return, which significantly enhance the adherence at the surface. However, depending on the air gap between the magnet and the corresponding component, individual raw magnets can demonstrate considerably higher adhesive forces than those in magnet assemblies. In scenarios where suitable retaining magnets or magnet assemblies are not available, raw magnets can be combined with appropriate holding structures to create highly specific magnet assemblies. These magnets are temperature resistant up to 175 °F (80 °C).
