The Double-Viton seal acid pump is designed for use with weak acids and chemicals, fruit juice, cleaning solvents, antifreeze, and fluids with a pH factor of 6 to 7. It can operate submerged when pumping water or machine oils, but should only be utilized in-line (not submerged) when handling weak acids. The pump features a nylon volute with a 3/8" FNPT intake (with a nylon adapter included for a 1/2" hose intake) and a 1/4" MNPT discharge. It is equipped with a stainless steel plate and motor shaft, along with inner and outer Viton seals, providing enhanced durability. The thermally protected motor is rated at 1/40 HP and is oil-filled for optimal performance. The integrated 3/8" FNPT intake includes an adapter for a 1/2" barbed intake, ensuring compatibility with various hose sizes.
