Rust Bullet Metal Jacket Coating Quart Can - MJQ is a temporary parts protector designed to offer a non-greasy, non-dirt collecting, non-tacky, dust retardant, continuous, flexible, and removable film that will not crack, peel, or flake. The product operates effectively within a temperature range of -40F to +175F and provides protection against atmospheric rust and corrosion, salt spray, high humidity, chemical fumes, abrasive matter, and fingerprinting and fingerprint corrosion. The translucent coating enables easy reading of identification markings stamped on parts. It is suitable for use on machinery and metal parts, particularly those in storage both indoors and outdoors, marine equipment, and tools, drills, and machinery used in outdoor drilling operations. It is also ideal for finished or fabricated castings, valves, stampings, and housings, especially in packaged equipment or parts during domestic and overseas shipments. The coating can be completely removed with most solvents when no longer necessary and dries to a transparent, amber, waxy film. Application methods include spray, dip, or brush.
