The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Roloc™ Durable Edge Disc 984F is designed to enhance efficiency and throughput in metal finishing applications by integrating the 3M™ Roloc™ quick-change attachment system with proprietary Precision-Shaped Grain (PSG) technology. The disc features a laminated 2-ply polyester backing for improved wear resistance during edge work, and the PSG technology allows for high cut rates with minimal pressure, reducing operator fatigue. It includes a grinding aid that maintains a lower temperature while working on stainless steel and heat-sensitive metals such as nickel alloys and titanium, thus minimizing discoloration and the risk of heat-induced stress cracks. 3M Precision-Shaped Grain outperforms standard ceramic abrasives, requiring less force while achieving superior results, enabling operators to grind faster and process more parts per disc.
