The Spilfyter® Grab & Go® Battery Acid Spill Kit, sold as 1 case, is designed for rapid response to leaks or spills of battery acid, making it suitable for strategic placement in areas such as garages, forklift storage areas, or battery storage zones. It is also effective for cleaning up dry cell batteries and adheres to OSHA 1910 178(g)(2), which mandates that facilities using electrolyte-containing batteries must develop a contingency plan for spills. The kit includes a 1.9 L liquid acid neutralizer, a 28-gram Aqualockit® solidifier, eleven 30 cm x 30 cm chemical pads, a pair of nitrile gloves, a pair of splash goggles, a poly apron, a trigger sprayer, and a scoop with a detachable scraper. The composition of the kit consists of hazmat absorbent made from polypropylene and a KOLORSAFE neutralizer containing triethanolamine and diethanolamine.
