It operates with a 12V low voltage power input and has a convenient, easy-to-read digital display. The compact and lightweight design enhances usability, while the double (D) model can accommodate 2 full blocks, 4 half blocks, 8 quarter blocks, or a combination of these. Its applications include sample preparation, enzyme preservation, enzyme-substrate reactions, and DNA amplification. The kit includes a dry bath, US style plug, block lifter, and plastic lid, although the unit must be ordered with blocks separately.
