The Thermo Scientific™ CryoClaw is designed for retrieving vials, ampoules, and cryoboxes from cryogenic vessels. It features rubber suction cups that efficiently retrieve ampules or boxes that have fallen from racks or cans into cryogenic vessels. Additionally, the CryoClaw can be utilized to reach overhead items or to safely move radioisotopes without direct contact with the containers. The overall length of the device is 41 in. (104 cm).
