The Thermo Scientific™ Forma™ environmental chambers offer versatile applications and configurations suitable for various purposes, with multiple capacities and a comprehensive array of features and controls. The chambers provide a wide temperature range of 0° to 60°C, enhancing flexibility, along with relative humidity control via steam generator from above ambient to 95% at 37°C (except Cat. No. 3920). They feature sophisticated digital controls, programmable ramp and soak cycles for temperature and relative humidity, and durable cabinets with true laminar airflow through a side plenum for excellent uniformity. The phenolic-coated evaporator is designed for applications generating corrosive byproducts, while manual control of defrost and refrigeration cycles is included. Safety is prioritized with visible and audible alarms for over- and under-temperature conditions and humidity deviations (with the exception of model 3920). The chambers are constructed from cold-rolled steel with a powder-coated finish, feature 2" (5.1 cm) thick, CFC-free, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, and have a stainless-steel interior with solid adjustable shelves. A directed horizontal airflow system ensures uniformity, and the units are equipped with locking swivel casters for mobility and leveling feet for stability. Additional options include interior lighting for specific models, reinforced shelving and flooring for heavy loads, a heatless dryer, access ports for probes and sensors, convenience receptacles, CO2 (IR sensor), and temperature chart recorders in 6" and 12" sizes, with various custom options available.
