The Thermo Scientific™ Forma™ environmental chambers are designed for a variety of applications and are offered in multiple capacities to meet stringent requirements. These chambers feature a wide temperature range of 0° to 60°C, providing enhanced flexibility, and include relative humidity control via a steam generator that can reach up to 95% at 37°C (not available with Cat. No. 3920). Equipped with sophisticated digital controls, these units allow for programmable ramp and soak cycles for both temperature and relative humidity. The durable cabinets ensure true laminar airflow through side plenums, achieving extremely tight uniformity. The construction incorporates cold-rolled steel with a powder-coated finish and features 2" (5.1 cm) thick, CFC-free, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, along with a stainless-steel interior and solid stainless-steel adjustable shelves. The directed horizontal airflow system enhances uniformity, while locking swivel casters and leveling feet offer mobility, stability, and safety. Additional options include interior lighting for specific models, reinforced shelving for heavy loads, a heatless dryer for lower humidity levels, access ports for probes and sensors, interior convenience receptacles, CO2 (IR sensor), and temperature chart recorders in 6" and 12" sizes, as well as other custom options. The chambers are also equipped with visible and audible safety alarms for over- and under-temperature conditions, along with humidity deviation alerts (except model 3920).
