The Thermo Scientific™ Midi 40 CO2 incubator is designed for safe and efficient operation, utilizing the Thermo Scientific™ IntraLogic™ II microprocessor-based control system with an alphanumeric setpoint display for temperature, CO2, alarm, calibration, and diagnostic functions. This 1.4 cu. ft. (40L) incubator has a compact footprint of less than 2 sq. ft. (0.6m²), making it ideal for small-sample throughput requirements. It features a digital read-out and alphanumeric displays to streamline operation and monitoring. The IntraLogic II microprocessor control ensures accurate thermal gas performance with factory calibration and automatic thermal conductivity CO2 control. User-friendly three-button touchpad control and setpoint security, along with a comprehensive alarm system featuring audible and visual alerts for temperature and CO2 functions, enhance safety. The temperature range extends from 5°C above ambient to 60°C with a precise control of 0.1°C, displayed on an EasyView™ highly visible vacuum-fluorescent display. The incubator's construction includes a reinforced cabinet suitable for stacking, a scratch-resistant high-impact painted finish for ease of cleaning, and a solid outer door with a magnetic gasket that closes gently against the cabinet. The tempered glass inner door is heated by the outer door to prevent condensation, while a nonporous silicone gasket maintains chamber integrity. The seamless stainless-steel interior chamber and radiant wall heating ensure accurate, uniform temperature through natural air convection.
