The Thermo Scientific™ Bantam™ deionizer is designed to provide an economical solution for deionizing water, allowing users to customize the unit by selecting the appropriate cartridge for their specific applications. It is suitable for applications requiring up to 38 liters per hour of purified water, facilitating point-of-use polishing of pre-treated water or single-stage treatment of tap water. The deionizer features a direct-reading purity monitor and can be mounted either on a benchtop or wall. It has a resistivity range of 25,000 to 18,000,000 Ωcm and includes 3 ft. (91 cm) of inlet tubing. Cartridges are sold separately, and the unit is recommended for pre-treatment and deionization processes. It is important to note that the Bantam™ deionizer is designed for non-pressurized applications and requires that output water be diverted to an atmospherically vented receptacle, as it cannot accept back pressure. Additionally, it will not ship to residential addresses.
