The B1/4-20 x 1" machine screw features a flat head with a slotted drive, made of steel with a zinc CR+3 finish, and is sold in a package of 100 under the BBI 580631 model. These machine screws are designed to go through a hole or nut that is pre-tapped to form a mating thread for the screw. The flat head design is used when protrusion of the fastener above the mating surface is unacceptable, ensuring a flush fit.
