The DeWalt DXCMV5048055 is a powerful 5 HP, two-stage piston compressor with an 80-gallon vertical tank, operating at 175 PSI and designed for 1-phase 230V applications. This industrial-grade compressor features a patented pump design that ensures cooler operation, along with a patented piston design for improved compression efficiency. It includes patented deep-grove and asymmetrical cooling fins, and a cast iron flywheel designed with large extended fins to enhance cooling and maintain low pump RPM. The unit is equipped with a Tops® motor that offers thermal overload protection, safeguarding the motor from voltage fluctuations without the need for a magnetic starter. An integrated control panel provides enhanced control and convenience, featuring tank and working pressure gauges, an air flow regulator, two quick connect air outlets, and a pressure relief valve. The compressor is also accompanied by a large capacity 80-gallon ASME air receiver and is shipped with synthetic blend air compressor oil.
