The AMBI top allows the cabinet to be flipped for left or right door access. Security is ensured with a programmable audit lock featuring a heavy gauge locking bolt, which keeps contents secure and allows for controlled and traceable lock activity. The #181490 audit software package is required for the lock, enabling control and auditing of the locking system; it includes programming and a flash drive for data transfer between the software and the lock, with one package required per facility. The cabinet is warranted for 10 years, with a 1-year warranty for the lock. Additional attributes include pre-drilled holes reinforced with stainless steel mounting discs, dimensions of 24"H x 16"W x 8"D, a low battery indicator, and a 6-AA battery pack that is best complemented with premium brand alkaline batteries. A jump start battery override is available through a mini USB communications port, allowing access to the CompX eLock with a valid credential when batteries are exhausted.
