The Guardian Fall Protection internal shock lanyard is constructed from heavy-duty outer polyester webbing with a polyester core, designed to minimize impact forces from falls. This lightweight lanyard integrates shock absorption directly into its design, eliminating the need for an external shock absorber. It is non-stretching under normal conditions, only stretching under high force. Available in both single and double leg models, the lanyard offers various connector component options. It features a maximum free fall allowance of 6 feet, with a total fall distance potential of 10 feet, consisting of 6 feet of free fall and 48 inches of deceleration. The lanyard is suitable for both fall arrest and restraint applications.
