The original rescue cans developed by Bob Burnside, the L.A. County Chief, feature strong cross-linked polyethylene construction with molded, pebble-grained hand grips to reduce slippage. They are designed with the thickest walls for enhanced strength and include a heavy-duty 2" nylon strap along with 10' of 11/32" line. The 28" rescue can is specifically intended for single victim rescue, while the 34" rescue can is suitable for multi-victim rescue, making them versatile options for emergency situations.
