The re-usable Hot Button® hot pack instantly becomes hot once the button inside the pack is activated, remaining hot for at least 30 minutes. To recharge the pack for future activation, it can be boiled for approximately 10 minutes, with the activation and recharging process repeatable at least 100 times. The pack's contents are non-toxic food additives, ensuring safety during use. To activate the pad, gently flex the disk within it back and forth until the pad begins to crystallize, heating the pad to approximately 130°F (54°C). For cold therapy, the pack can be refrigerated, but it should not be frozen. To return the pack to a liquid state, wrap it in cloth and place it in boiling water for 5 to 12 minutes. The neck dimensions of the pack are 11" x 17".
