The re-usable Hot Button® hot pack instantly becomes hot once the button inside the pack is activated and remains hot for at least 30 minutes. It can be recharged for future activation by boiling it for approximately 10 minutes, with the activation and recharging process being repeatable at least 100 times. The contents of the Hot Button® are non-toxic food additives, making it safe for use. To activate the pad, gently flex the disk within the pad back and forth until it begins to crystallize, resulting in a temperature of approximately 130°F (54°C). For cold applications, refrigerate the pack but do not freeze. To return the pad to a liquid state, wrap it in cloth and place it in boiling water for 5 to 12 minutes. The pack has dimensions of 10" x 11" and is available in a case of 12.
