The Re-Usable Hot Button® Hot Pack is designed to provide instant heat upon activation of the button inside the pack, remaining hot for at least 30 minutes. It can be recharged for future use by boiling it for approximately 10 minutes, allowing for at least 100 activations. The contents of the Hot Button® are safe and consist of common non-toxic food additives. Activation is achieved by gently flexing the disk within the pad back and forth until crystallization begins, heating the pad to about 130°F (54°C). For cold use, the pack can be refrigerated, but it should not be frozen. To return the pad to a liquid state, it should be wrapped in cloth and placed in boiling water for 5 to 12 minutes. The dimensions of the product are small, measuring 3.5 inches by 5.5 inches.
