The Pure50+ is a two-component adhesive anchoring system that includes injection adhesive in plastic cartridges, mixing nozzles, dispensing tools, and hole cleaning equipment. It is specifically designed for bonding threaded rod and reinforcing bar hardware into drilled holes in solid concrete base materials. Its general applications include bonding threaded rod and reinforcing bar into hardened concrete, and it has been evaluated for installation and use in dry, wet, and water-filled holes, accommodating a wide range of base material temperatures. Key features include its design for use with threaded rod and reinforcing bar hardware elements, recognition for freeze/thaw performance, and a cartridge design that allows for multiple uses with extra mixing nozzles. The mixing nozzles proportion the adhesive and provide a simple delivery method into drilled holes, while the system has been evaluated and recognized for both long-term and short-term loading. The Pure50+ has received approvals and listings from the International Code Council, Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) ESR-3576 for cracked and uncracked concrete. It complies with the 2012 IBC, 2012 IRC, 2009 IBC, 2009 IRC, 2006 IBC, and 2006 IRC codes, and conforms to the requirements of ASTM C 881, types I, II, IV and V, grade 3, classes B & C (also meets type III except for elongation) with Department of Transportation listings. It has been tested in accordance with ACI 355.4 / ASTM E488, and ICC-ES AC308 for use in concrete, and has been evaluated and qualified by an accredited independent testing laboratory for recognition in cracked and uncracked concrete including seismic and wind loading. Additionally, it is compliant with NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for drinking water system components concerning health effects, meeting minimum requirements for materials in contact with potable water and water treatment.
