The Qorpak CAP-06645 is a white metal plastisol lined cap featuring a 58-400 neck finish, packaged in a case of 288. These metal caps are highly resistant to fracture from impact, making them ideal for both industrial and food applications. They are manufactured from either steel, which is coated with an anti-corrosive layer of chrome plate or tinplate, or aluminum. The plastisol lining provides excellent resistance to mild acids found in food products and is typically used on glass bottles and jars. The design of these caps allows for hot fill operations, effectively creating a vacuum seal once the plastisol cools and re-solidifies.
