The Norton 66623399140 BlueFire plastic flat flap disc is designed for versatile grinding and finishing applications. It measures 4-1/2" in diameter with a 7/8" arbor hole and features P36 grit zirconia alumina for superior performance. The flap disc consists of three main components: a backing plate, adhesive, and overlapping abrasive cloth flaps that are glued to the backing plate. Specifically tailored for right angle grinder applications, it effectively handles tasks such as heavy stock removal and surface blending, making it ideal for mild carbon steel and welds. The disc can be used at a 0-15° angle for blending and smooth finishing, and its plastic backing plate allows for easy trimming. The primary application for this product is right angle grinding.
