Myotrac™ packs extreme sensitivity into a light, compact unit designed for both clinical assessment and self-training, making it suitable for use in the clinic or at home. The unit allows total freedom of movement for ambulatory exercises and features a bright light bar along with proportional tone biofeedback, ensuring accurate and reliable readings in less than a second. It offers three sensitivity ranges tailored for muscle strengthening, rehabilitation, or relaxation therapy. The highly-sensitive Myoscan active sensor requires no skin preparation, and the device supports two modes of biofeedback: LED and a five-way tone that includes proportional, above and below threshold, and a four-second delayed alarm. The 13-segment LED barograph provides an expanded range for precise visual feedback, while wide and narrow bandpass filters enable precise monitoring of normal and fatiguing muscles and help eliminate heartbeat artifacts. The unit also features a 0 to 2 volts DC output for connection to third-party equipment, allowing for computerized monitoring, and boasts low current consumption for extended battery life. The kit includes a Myotrac home trainer with Myoscan active sensor and extender cable, and is a 1-channel system.
