Wedge anchors can be set up quickly and require less rotation to achieve the required torque. They support a clip when the anchor is under strain, which minimizes bolt-end collapse and/or clip slippage under ultimate loading conditions. The enlarged dimples on the clip reduce slip, making it more responsive in lighter concrete, with 360-degree segment contact on the clip. This design equalizes load distribution, providing greater load performance carrying capacity and a "more forgiving" design.
