The phenolic science lab tables with book compartments are designed for durability and functionality in any science classroom. Constructed with a robust ash frame and side panel aprons, these tables feature a solid, black, 3/4" thick phenolic resin tabletop with a matte finish that resists cracking and can be modified using carbide-tipped tools. The work surface is impervious to extreme cold, heat up to 275°F, and damage from a wide range of chemicals, acids, and corrosive substances commonly found in laboratory settings. The tables include two storage compartments, which can be concealed with the included side-panel aprons. Stability is ensured with legs that are spot-welded to the frame and secured with metal-on-metal double-bolts on 13-gauge steel corner braces. The feet are equipped with rubber liquid-protective boots and adjustable glides for precise floor leveling. The book compartments measure 14-1/4"L x 12-3/4"D x 4"H. This product meets or exceeds SEFA environmental industrial standards and comes with a 10-year warranty.
