The Covidien 5-quart SharpStar in-room sharps container measures 10-3/4"W x 5-1/2"D x 12-1/2"H and features a transparent red design. This sharps refill container is specifically engineered for use with the SharpStar in-room enclosure system. It incorporates a counterbalanced lid that minimizes the potential for overfilling by stopping in the "full" position when the container reaches its maximum capacity. The economical horizontal drop maximizes container volume, while the lid design restricts accidental or intentional access to the contents and facilitates visual monitoring of the fill level.
