Valley Craft's counter-weight manual drive Roto-Grip drum handler is engineered for efficient loading and unloading by butting directly against pallets. It features a lift height of 78 inches and is capable of rotating most steel drums and cylinders with diameters ranging from 18 inches to 24 inches, utilizing electric clamping jaws and an electric-over-hydraulic control system. The electric screw jack clamps release the rubber-lined jaws, allowing the hydraulic rotator to turn drums 360 degrees. The design incorporates a single mast for enhanced visibility and has an impressive load capacity of 800 pounds. An optional floor lock is available for added stability. The electric-over-hydraulic control system operates on a 12-volt deep cycle battery, which is included, and it connects to a standard grounded outlet. Counter-weight models are notably heavier, weighing twice as much as straddle-type models, which necessitates greater effort for movement.
