The Midwest® Power Cutter® Long Cut Aviation Snip features a 3-inch length of cut designed for fewer re-bites when cutting long sheets of thin material, along with a wide opening suitable for cutting vinyl siding nail lip and ribbed roofing material. This tool is equipped with GlideTech® forged blades, manufactured through a process that ensures unparalleled strength, longevity of edge life, and precise cutting action. The blades are constructed from hot drop-forged molybdenum alloy steel, ensuring exceptional strength and durability, and are Austemper® heat-treated to effectively maintain their precision ground cutting edge. The GlideTech® forged blades cut completely from the pinch of the blades through their points and are pivoted on a grade 8 bolt that is threaded and affixed into the bottom blade, which allows for precision adjustment and potential readjustment to extend peak performance. Additionally, the tool features Kush'nPower® compound leverage handle action with a patented handle grip design that multiplies handle force to the cutting blades while minimizing the required hand force and providing a soft, sturdy, and comfortable grip.
