The Midwest® straight aviation snip is designed for trimming metal and other sheet materials, featuring GlideTech® forged blades known for their exceptional strength and longevity. The manufacturing process of the GlideTech® forged blades ensures an unparalleled edge life and precise cutting action, as they are hot drop forged from molybdenum alloy steel and Austemper® heat treated to maintain their precision ground cutting edge. These blades cut completely from the pinch to their points and pivot on a Grade 8 bolt that is threaded and fixed into the bottom blade, which allows for precision adjustment and can be recalibrated if necessary, thereby extending overall performance. The snip is equipped with Kush'Npower® compound leverage handle action, featuring a patented handle grip design (US D718,602, D719,808) that multiplies handle force to the cutting blades while requiring minimal hand force, all while providing a soft, sturdy, and comfortable grip. The Kush'Npower® grips and the heavy-duty double-overwind spring come with an unconditional guarantee. This model is made in the USA and can be used in either hand.
