The Galvanized Frame Wall Shutter (Rear Flanged) Model 556 is designed for environments where corrosion is a concern. It features a frame made of galvanized steel and blades constructed from mill finish aluminum, which include a galvanized reinforcement strip across the top of each blade to enhance strength and counterbalancing efficiency. Additionally, the blades are equipped with a felt seal on the leading edge to ensure quiet closing and improved protection against the weather. This model is ideally suited for use with direct-drive or belt-driven exhaust fans and is recommended for vertical mount exhaust applications only.
