Conduct light-duty, general purpose applications where a heavier bottle is not required with Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ wide-mouth amber HDPE economy bottles with closure. These high density polyethylene bottles are lightweight versions of the original Nalgene amber lab quality bottle. The opaque amber color reduces UV light transmissions to protect light-sensitive liquids, making them useful for storage, shipping, and packaging while offering excellent chemical resistance to most acids, bases, and alcohols. The kit includes amber polypropylene screw closures and features include being economical and recyclable, designed for single use, capable of being used in freezers at temperatures down to -100°C (-148°F) for long-term storage, and linerless caps that ensure leak-proof performance without a liner that can wrinkle, cause leaks, and contaminate solutions. These bottles meet U.S. Pharmacopeia 23 requirements for maximum light transmission and are guaranteed to be leak-proof. Note: Will not ship to residential addresses.
