Protect light-sensitive liquids with Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ large amber narrow-mouth bottles, designed to reduce UV light transmissions, making them ideal for storing chemicals, standards, and distilled water. These bottles exhibit excellent chemical resistance to most acids, bases, and alcohols, ensuring versatility where light exposure needs to be restricted. The opaque amber material meets the U.S. Pharmacopeia 23 requirements for light transmission and features a built-in shoulder loop on the 4L and 8L sizes for attaching identification tags. The linerless caps provide superior leak-proof protection without the risk of wrinkles or contamination from liners. Additionally, these bottles are autoclavable and leak-proof, though it is advised to completely disengage threads or remove the cap before autoclaving. Nalgene LDPE, HDPE, PP, and PMP containers are suitable for long-term storage; however, direct UV exposure should be avoided. Please note that these items will not ship to residential addresses.
