Store pastes, solids, specimens, and lab supplies in Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ wide-mouth straight-sided PPCO jars. These versatile, translucent jars feature excellent chemical resistance and can be autoclaved repeatedly. The wide mouth and straight sides provide full access and complete sample retrieval. The 15, 30, and 60 mL jars come with natural polypropylene closures, while the 125 mL to 1 L jars are equipped with white polypropylene closures with recessed tops for stacking, which aids in organizing the fridge or countertop and maximizing storage space. The 125 and 250 mL sizes fit Osterizer™ and other blenders that have Mason jar threads; the recommended fluid transfer closure is DS2153-0700. For the 500 mL and 1 L sizes, it is advised to remove the closure and autoclave separately. It is important to note that polypropylene copolymer jars are not liquid leak-proof and are not recommended for liquid transport. Additionally, the product will not ship to residential addresses.
