The Sundstrom SR 500 system is a belt-mounted powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) that includes the SR 500 fan unit, SR 502 battery, battery charger, polyester belt, flow meter, filter covers, and two HE particulate filters. It features adjustable face and head gear and protects against particulates, gases, and vapors, or a combination of both, making it suitable for hard, warm, or long-duration work. Filtered air is supplied through a breathing hose, providing cooling air for the user.
