These pairs of window hinges are constructed of stainless steel mounting plates and steel link arms, featuring a corrosive-resistant E-Gard coating for enhanced durability. Designed for concealed installation, these hinges are hidden from view on both the inside and outside of the window and may require a special rabbet or plow for proper mounting onto the sash. Suitable for crank-out and push-out casement windows, crank-out and push-out awning windows, tilt-in hopper windows, and transom windows, these hinges do not come with set screws. However, when inserted into the plastic glides, they can convert to concealed friction hinges, which are commonly used on push-out casements to hold open in slightly windy conditions and on awning windows to prevent "bouncing" when closing. The hinges can be mounted at the header, on the sill, or on the sides of the window openings, and installation fasteners are included with each pair.
