The SHEL LAB SVAC vacuum ovens are designed for fast and gentle drying of heat-sensitive materials, preventing residue accumulation and operating at lower temperatures than conventional convection ovens. These ovens feature stainless steel interiors for exceptional durability and stability, and they are available in three sizes, supporting a diverse range of applications. The upgraded SVAC models meet UL, CSA, and CE safety requirements and have a cool outer surface. Users can select between a 3/8-inch orifice or a KF-25 fitting to achieve necessary vacuum levels, while the doors are fitted with positive latch handles and spring-loaded glass for effective vacuum sealing. A tempered glass viewing window enables safe, continuous monitoring of samples. The ovens are equipped with silicone gaskets that resist a variety of temperatures and pressures, although Buna gaskets are recommended for solvent applications and fluorosilicone or Viton® gaskets for acidic applications. Key features include a Watlow controller, generous usable shelf area, impressive vacuum levels, dimensions ranging from 0.6 to 4.5 cubic feet, built-in overtemperature protection, and a 24-month limited warranty.
