Shel Lab® Peltier-chilled incubators utilize innovative thermoelectric cooling technology, eliminating the need for a refrigeration compressor or halogenated gases, which results in up to 71% less power consumption compared to alternative models and a 75% reduction in room air conditioning loads. These incubators feature high-capacity shelves that prevent sagging and meet APHA specifications for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD). They are equipped with a mechanical convection system for even air distribution, a digital temperature set controller, over temperature limit control, and a digital temperature display. Additionally, a one amp interior outlet is provided for the use of shakers, stirrers, roller bottles, or other apparatus, while adjustable leveling feet ensure stability. Key features include a microprocessor control system, P.I.D. temperature control, LED temperature display, and fan-assisted/forced-air circulation. The units come with a 24-month limited warranty.
