The Shel Lab® Peltier-chilled incubators utilize innovative thermoelectric cooling technology, eliminating the need for a refrigeration compressor or halogenated gases, resulting in up to 71% less power consumption compared to alternative models and reducing room air conditioning loads by 75%. These incubators feature high-capacity shelves that prevent sagging and meet APHA specifications for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD). They are equipped with a mechanical convection system for even air distribution, a microprocessor control system, P.I.D. temperature control, and a digital temperature display. Additional specifications include an interior electrical outlet rated at one amp for connecting shakers, stirrers, roller bottles, or other apparatus, and fan-assisted forced-air circulation. Adjustable leveling feet are supplied for stability, making these low-temperature incubators ideal for testing sewage, wastewater, and various low and room temperature applications. The units come with a 24-month limited warranty.
