The Speedbor® Blue Groove extra-long spade bit features a 1/2" diameter and 16" length. It includes a point and cutting edge designed for faster chip removal, achieving speeds 4 times faster than standard spade bits. The double cutting spurs scribe the outside of the hole to reduce breakout. The bit has a 10% larger shank for added durability, and the grooved hex shank prevents slipping in the drill chuck or extension. It fits all standard quick change chucks but is not intended for use with bit extensions.
