The Solaira SICR20240B infrared heater operates at 2.0kW and is designed for 208-240V applications, featuring a black powder-coated aircraft aluminum body that includes mounting brackets and stainless steel mounting hardware. This heater utilizes engineered short wave heating technology, achieving a 92% energy conversion rate, and is capable of producing instant, controllable, directional heat, unaffected by wind or drafts as it warms people and objects rather than the air. It is designed for both wall and ceiling mount installations with clearance requirements as low as 6 inches for wall mounts and 4.5 inches for ceiling mounts. For recessed mounting, an enclosure box made from 1-hour fire-rated material must be provided by the contractor, along with recess kit part # SICR-H3-TRMB. The unit is rated for all weather indoor and outdoor use, suitable for wet or dry conditions, and complies with cCSAus certification as well as ANSI/UL 1278, UL 2021, ANSI/UL 875, and ANSI/UL 834 standards. It comes with a 6-foot hardwired power cord and is backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
