The Solaire SICR40240B infrared heater operates at 4.0kW and is designed for use at 208-240V. This infrared heater belongs to the ICR series, representing advanced engineered short wave heating technology that converts 92% of consumed energy into instant, controllable, directional heat, making it unaffected by wind or drafts as it warms people and objects rather than the air. The heater features a powder-coated aircraft aluminum body and includes mounting brackets and stainless steel mounting hardware for versatile installation. It is engineered for wall and ceiling mounting, requiring a minimum clearance of 6 inches for wall mount and 4.5 inches for ceiling mount. Additionally, the heater can be recessed, provided it is installed in an enclosure box made of 1-hour fire-rated material, which is to be supplied and installed by the contractor, along with recess kit part # SICR-H3-TRMB. The product is rated for both indoor and outdoor use in wet or dry conditions and features a black powder coat finish along with a 6-foot hardwired power cord. The heater meets CCSAUS listing and is certified to ANSI/UL 1278, UL 2021, ANSI/UL 875, and ANSI/UL 834 standards, making it suitable for all-weather, indoor/outdoor, commercial, residential, and high bay applications.
