The Solaira SICR60240B infrared heater operates at 6.0kW and is designed for use with 208-240V electrical systems. The new Solaira ICR series electric infrared heaters utilize advanced engineered short wave heating technology, achieving an impressive 92% energy conversion rate to provide instant, controllable, directional heat that is unaffected by wind or draft, primarily warming people and objects rather than the air. The heater features a durable powder-coated aircraft aluminum body, complete with mounting brackets and stainless steel mounting hardware, and is suitable for both wall and ceiling mounting, with clearance requirements of as low as 6 inches for wall mount and 4.5 inches for ceiling mount. It can also be recessed, provided that it is installed within an enclosure box made from 1-hour fire-rated material (contractor to supply and install), and the recess kit part # SICR-H3-TRMB is used. The unit is equipped with a 6-foot hard wire power cord and is rated for both indoor and outdoor wet or dry conditions. The heater is modular in design to cater to engineered heat load requirements, emits no CO2 or NOx, and is certified by CCSAUS to ANSI/UL 1278, UL 2021, ANSI/UL 875, and ANSI/UL 834. Constructed with aluminum and finished in black powder coat, this heater is suitable for all-weather, indoor/outdoor, commercial, residential, and high bay applications, and comes with a 3-year limited warranty.
