The medium duty powered stretch machines offer a 5,000 lbs capacity unit, featuring a powered turntable and a counter-balanced stretch wrap film mast. To operate the machine, the user simply depresses the foot pedal to manually adjust the mast up and down. The film wrap tension is adjustable via a friction-brake assembly, allowing for precise control during operation. Film placement is managed manually by moving the carriage assembly along the vertical mast, and a hand-operated carriage brake facilitates easy movement for quick film application. This system is compatible with film materials ranging from 10" to 20". The machine is shipped with the mast disconnected, requiring the user to raise and clamp it into place upon setup. Additionally, the standard manual film wrap delivery can be upgraded to include a 115V 1-phase AC powered mast option (PMO), which allows for enhanced operation via a handheld control for raising and lowering the film while the foot control manages the turntable.
