The Dyna-Glo™ IRSS18NGT-2N is an 18,000 BTU natural gas infrared vent-free thermostatic wall heater designed for safe, indoor supplemental heating. This innovative vent-free technology eliminates the need for a flue or chimney, making it suitable for use in a variety of settings such as homes, cabins, or garages. With the added benefit of not requiring electricity, it serves as an effective heating solution during power outages. Operating with 99.9% efficiency on natural gas, this heater utilizes infrared technology to warm objects similarly to the sun. The built-in thermostat control knob allows for automatic maintenance of your desired heat level. Additionally, the unit comes equipped with a safety feature that includes an oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) that promptly shuts down the heater in the event of carbon monoxide or oxygen deficiency. For installation, it includes all necessary hardware and brackets for wall mounting, while optional base legs (B2240711) and a wall heater fan (B2240712) can be purchased separately for enhanced versatility and improved heat distribution. The heater must be installed by a licensed contractor, and it is not available for sale in Austin & Houston Texas, Minnesota, New York City, California, or Canada.
