The combination shower eye/face wash unit is a free-standing, floor-mounted unit that features a shower valve which opens quickly via a pull rod with a triangular handle, delivering a superior wash down with a more even spray pattern. The eyewash is activated by a large, highly visible push handle, providing a safe and steady water flow under varying water supply conditions from 30 to 90 PSI, ensured by the integral flow control in the spray head assembly. The unit is equipped with a 120 volt electric heat trace cable and pipe insulation, which is regulated to -50° F (-45.5° C) and is rated for use in Class 1 Division 2, Groups B, C, and D locations, complying with NEMA 4X standards. Constructed from galvanized steel pipe with a Bradtect® safety yellow coating, the unit is hand activated and features a 1-1/4" NPT water supply at the top. It contains an ABS plastic showerhead and halo eye/face wash, an ABS plastic outer shell sealed with rivets, and an impact-resistant plastic bowl and dust cover. Additionally, indicator lights display power to the unit and heating cable. The unit is certified to ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 standard and is CCSAUS listed when installed and used properly. It includes a halo heat trace, 120V electric heat trace cable, C1D2 bottom supply, a 120V universal identification sign, and an inspection tag, along with a manufacturer's limited warranty.
