The Traffix Devices Alert™ Rumble Strip, model CR4324B, is designed for quick and straightforward deployment or retrieval to alert motorists of upcoming changes in the roadway. The kit includes three rumble strips, each measuring 46.5" long and 12" wide, which can be assembled to create a 12' lane width. These assemblies are to be spaced evenly to warn drivers of work zones or safety checkpoints. The strips feature a full thickness of 1" for enhanced sensory awareness. Assembly is efficient, requiring only one person, as the pliable rubber with jigsaw connections allows for easy and flexible alignment, whether in-line or staggered for added visibility. They feature a bidirectional ramp design, eliminating concerns about orientation. For ease of handling, the large handle fits a gloved hand for balanced carrying, and the jigsaw ends serve as handles for positioning. The total weight of a complete set of three strips is 72 lbs. Disassembly is simplified by dragging the strips off the road by their ends, and they can be securely stacked in transport using molded-in stacking lugs. Made from durable recycled rubber, these rumble strips adhere to the roadway in all conditions and speeds, with high-tech grooves providing grip suitable for heavy highway use.
