The LX5 laptop cart features a simple, lightweight, and ergonomic design that facilitates non-powered mobilization of health IT programs utilizing laptop computers. It accommodates widescreen laptops with a 17" LCD monitor and has a small footprint for easy maneuvering, equipped with proven casters for smooth travel, including one locking and one tracking caster. The cart offers flexibility in workstation configuration with storage drawers available in 3" or 6" depth. It is well-suited for various settings such as bedside documentation, CPOE/physician rounds, med/surg departments, emergency departments, ambulatory/outpatient areas, ICUs, operating rooms, and patient registration. The specifications include a base dimension of 16" x 17", a work surface area of 19" x 22" with integrated forward-facing handles, and a height range of 35.75" to 49.25" allowing for 17" of vertical travel. Constructed from formed steel, aluminum, and heavy-duty polymer, the cart features a durable powder coat finish and a manual lift system.
