The GN 883 breather valves are designed to vent into a container once the opening pressure, as specified in the accompanying table, is exceeded, thereby protecting against excessive internal container pressure. These valves feature very compact dimensions and utilize a simple function principle consisting of a pressure spring and ball, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. For optimal performance, the valves must be installed in a vertical position at the top. They are temperature-resistant, functioning effectively within a range of -22° F to 212° F (-30° C to +100° C).
