GN 881 breather valves with gasket are designed to vent into a container when the opening pressure specified in the table is exceeded, thereby preventing excessive internal container pressure. In their normal state, the gasket effectively seals the container, keeping dirt and dust outside. These valves undergo rigorous checks for leak tightness and opening pressure. They are temperature resistant, operating effectively within a range of -22° F to 212° F (-30° C to +100° C).
