GN 881 breather valves with gasket are designed to vent into a container once the opening pressure specified in the table is exceeded, thereby preventing excessive internal container pressure. In their normal state, the gasket effectively seals the container, preventing the ingress of dirt and dust. These valves undergo checks for leak tightness and opening pressure, ensuring reliable performance. They are temperature resistant, operating within a range of -22° F to 212° F (-30° C to +100° C).
